Apple Watch: how to force quit apps

Closing the apps on your Apple Watch happens with a few simple gestures, just like the iPhone.

It won’t save battery life, but it’s definitely satisfying to run away. If an app is frozen and won’t close, there are workarounds to fix it, from force quitting to restarting the Apple Watch.

Here, we explain how to close apps on Apple Watch, how to force quit apps, and other troubleshooting strategies.
