How to access GMX mail in Gmail

How to access GMX mail in Gmail

If you have Gmail and GMX Mail email addresses, you may find it inconvenient to check your email in both places. Instead, set up Gmail to retrieve your GMX email messages (and send them from your gmx.com address) from Gmail.

This way, you can use both services from a single interface. Gmail can also automatically apply a label to your GMX mail messages so they’re in one place in Gmail, leaving your inbox tidy.

Enable IMAP and POP3 on GMX

Before Gmail can access your mail from GMX, you need to give it access. By default, GMX disables IMAP and POP3 access for security reasons. So, you need to manually enable them first.

  1. You open GMX and sign in, then select Settings from the menu on the left of the screen.
