Add a bookmark in Microsoft Word

To add or insert a bookmark in a Microsoft Word document, please follow the steps below.

1. Open a Microsoft Word document.
2. Find and highlight the words or object you want to bookmark.

3. In the ribbon, click the tab insert .
4. On the Insert tab, click the option Bookmark in the section Connections .

5. In the window Bookmark enter a name for the bookmark in the text field Bookmark name .
6. Click the button add to add the bookmark.
7. Click the button Close to close the video window bookmarks .

Access a bookmark in Microsoft Word

To access or go to a bookmark in a Microsoft Word document, please follow the steps below.

1. Open the Microsoft Word document containing the bookmark you want to access.
2. In the ribbon, click the tab insert .
3. On the Insert tab, click the option Bookmark in the section Connections .

4. In the window Bookmark below the text field Bookmark name select the bookmark you want to access.
5. Click the button Go to to access that bookmark.
6. Click the button Close to close the video window bookmarks .

Remove a bookmark in Microsoft Word

To remove or delete a bookmark in a Microsoft Word document, please follow the steps below.

1. Open the Microsoft Word document containing the bookmark you want to remove.
2. In the ribbon, click the tab insert .
3. On the Insert tab, click the option Bookmark in the section Connections .

4. In the window Bookmark below the text field Bookmark name select the bookmark you want to remove.
5. Click the button Delete to remove that bookmark.
