PlayStation VR is becoming a bigger and bigger platform, especially with the upcoming release of PS5 VR.
But no matter where you play your VR games, on PS4 or PS5, an incredible experience awaits you. With PlayStation releasing new games almost every month, it’s easy to get overwhelmed by what’s out there. Here are some of the unreleased VR games slated for PSVR in the coming months. We can’t wait to add more upcoming PlayStation VR games to this list as they become available. For now, we hope some of our favorite picks on this list grab your attention.
Have you ever wondered what Mirror’s Edge would be like in virtual reality? Well that’s the closest you could get. Since you probably can’t do parkour in real life, do it in the safety of virtual reality with Stride. This is not just about parkour, as you will have to fight enemies on the rooftops of the metropolis that you are turning into a jungle gym. Stride will feature an Arena mode, a Time Run mode and an Endless mode with infinite level generation.
If you are prone to motion sickness or dizziness, this may not be the best game for you to play in VR. However, if you are looking for a run and want to play a fast action game, Stride seems to be a good choice.
Release date: TBD
JRPG fans are looking forward to Zenith coming to PSVR. This MMO features a colorful open world filled with beautiful environments, futuristic cities and scary beasts. The developer describes his first-person combat as “hyper-immersive” and makes it easy for anyone to learn.
Some of Zenith’s multiplayer content includes world bosses, public events, and dungeons, where you’ll have to give your best if you want to win future challenges. In an interesting move that I’m sure players will appreciate, the classes don’t define your role in the game. You can “hold like a wizard of essence or heal like a master of blades.” As this is an RPG, the choice is yours.
Release date: TBD
Wanderer is a recently announced action-adventure game set in an alternate timeline where nature has taken over and everything about the world has turned upside down. The game throws you right in the middle of some of the greatest and most important moments in history. Players can embody an infamous cast of characters, including visiting Tesla’s lab to help set up his power machine or even go back to 1969 and relive the day humans set foot on the moon.
Moments in Wanderer pay homage to real events. The game’s themes explore historical, futuristic and even post-apocalyptic settings while touring various moments in history up to the 1960s.

What VR game are you most looking forward to playing?
Although releases have slowed with the pandemic, there are still several exciting games in our future, such as After the Fall and Song in the Smoke. After the Fall is one of those games that promises to advance the VR genre and show us what’s possible in a VR world, and also with a unique view of the post-apocalyptic world. These still have a general release date of 2021, but we’ll keep you updated if that changes.
While we’re all excited about the release of one of these titles, it might be time to check out upcoming PS4 and PS5 games while you wait for more games to arrive on your headset.
