The fan-created Avengers: Endgame video unites other heroes in the epic battle

Avengers: Endgame is been a crossover event for centuries. During the culminating battle scene in the 2019 film, we see a dizzying amount of Marvel characters from different franchises. However, they all have one thing in common: They exist as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, or MCU for short. But what if the MCU rules didn’t apply and the multiverse were open to include all cinematic universes? A fan tried to find out.

A YouTube user named McSuperfly uploaded a self-edited video, which has now amassed more than 2 million views and has gone viral on Reddit. Lasting just over four and a half minutes, the clip reinvents the final showdown in Avengers: Endgame , but with more heroes. A sack moreover. The video begins right after Dr. Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) arrives with the restored Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, Ravagers, and the armies of Wakanda and Asgard. He observes, “Is it all of them?” to which Benedict Wong replies: “What, did you want more?” And this is where the fun begins.

The expanded scene includes cameos from nearly every popular movie franchise, even reaching the realm of television towards the end. Start with a visit to Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and continue with characters from other comic-related properties including Deadpool, Justice League, Shazam !, Lantern Green , Jessica Jones , Fantastic Four and even Ghost Rider.

Doctor Strange once again asks if they are all, but there is still more. Many, many more. From Harry Potter to The Lord of the Rings to Matrix the iconic characters keep coming. Pirates of the Caribbean, The princess’s bride , Kill Bill … The list goes on and on. It may take a couple of watches to fully absorb every single aspect, but it’s worth it. Ready for more? The same user uploaded a version for bad guys only, which you can watch here.
